Great Hotel

09/27/2009The room was clean, that was all it had going for it. we were put it a room at the end of a long hall far away from the elevator. ...
The room was clean, that was all it had going for it. We were put it a room at the end of a long hall far away from the elevator. The furniture in the room was old, and the drapes were a nineties print. The ice machine was also far away from our room. There was no coffee pot or fridge either. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. and our flight out of Las Vegas didn't leave till almost midnight that night so they held our bags in the baggage room of the hotel till we got our shuttle to the airport that evening but we had no where to stay and rest and then we had to fly all night and have a 3 hour layover in Detroit and finally got home to Pittsburgh over 24 hours after our 11a.m. checkout time at Ballys.

BALLY'S TERRIBLE UPGRADED ROOM
09/26/2009I upgraded my room only to get a view of the top of a building and airconditioners . when i went downstairs and complainted that the room was awful with wall ...
I upgraded my room only to get a view of the top of a building and airconditioners . When I went downstairs and complainted that the room was awful with wall paper chipping and the view was that of the top of the building - I was told that they have lost all of their views- so what did I upgrade to. I tried to purchase a soft drink for my mom from the machine on the floor, nothing came out and I tried every selection, money not returned. Called the front desk and advised of what just occured and was advised that when next I was downstairs- stop at the desk and I will be reimbursed, did just that the following morning, they wanted my ID, my room key was not sufficient, the person behind the desk was not pleased that I was asking for my refund and told me I needed a photo ID - needless to say at this point I am aggravated, never received my money

We had great service from checking in to getting any or all requests met to our satisfaction. This was a great place to stay for the location it was located right in the center of the strip. Bally's also is connected to Paris so you could walk from one hotel to the next without ever leaving the building. The cross walk was right in front of the hotel to Ceasars and the other side of the strip.
