Hotel room was ok but they will charge you for everything. $* for internet for 24hrs. $* a day to use safe, and many others things plus no breakfast, not even a cup of juice or donuts. I thought i might get around the resort fee and I did but they will charge you for everything else and its worth the resort fee. Try some were else first. Unless you don't care about money.

When in Vegas we always try to stay in the middle of the strip because we walk everywhere north and south. Bally's was perfect. We were on a budget this trip and paid and average of $* for two nights. The only thing that could be a negative was that the carpet needed to be stretched a bit. Otherwise, the bed was wonderful, the bathroom was clean and expansive and we were able to access some of the coupons inside Bally's and the Paris for great food at not a big price. I think that people sometimes get too uppity writing travelers reviews expecting the Taj Mahal for nothing and easily get their bubble blown when no one can meet their unrealistic standards. You get what you pay for, but our experience with Bally's was great. From the front desk to the wait staff. The only real annoying thing about Vegas in general was the constant barrage of timeshare salesman that hang out at the entrances and a few other conspicuous places. Once you know where they are, it"s OK. Just tell them "I'm leaving tomorrow and not coming back for a while". That's usually enough to get them to move to someone else. Over all the experience at Bally's was great. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. A great value for the price!!!

Room was nice and quiet. Great deal for staying on the center of the strip. Everyone we encountered seemed nice and helpful. It was a little slow at check in but not too long. When hotel hopping during the stay I noticed lines were long everywhere so I would say that Ballys is not the only place with long lines. We did not kno wwhat to expect after reading allot of the mixed reviews and upgraded our stay to the north tower prior to arrival and our stay was quite pleasant and would definatley reccomend Balleys to anyone going to Vegas.

First room in south tower had extreme elevator noise sounded like an airport couldn't sleep. Got "upgraded" to a second room in the north tower went to gamble came back to find sink drain was gushing out black water and had flooded room and corridor. Got a third room, this one was clean and quiet but old and outdated, also the feathers were poking out of the pillows which made it almost impossible to sleep.I'm not kidding. Spoke to the main hotel manager about the situation, he had a cocky little attitude as did the assistant manager.I wanted my money refunded but they wouldn't budge (400 big ones for 2 nights). They offered two free nights on my next stay as if I would want to stay in this house of horrors again. You can take your free nights and shove 'em. Do yourself a favor fork out the extra * bucks or so and stay at the Pallazzo or Wynn. I usually stay in nicer hotels on the strip but this was new years weekend and everything else was super expensive. I should have listened to myself and stayed elsewhere. This place is so ready for teardown and rebuild. Needs new better management too. Disgusting customer service.

We stayed there for 4 days / 3 nights. It was easy to find on the strip next to paris and across from bellagios. Parking was located in the back which was fine, but a walk to the check in. The checkin was quick and easy, the room smelled clean and a good size. Usually these older hotels smell like smoke in the rooms, but it was totally opposite. Also we had thought we were given a newer remodeled room in the new tower built, to our suprise it turned out we were in the older tower with a great room and well kept. The location was key to our decision at Bally's being so close to the other casinos but well priced. The monorail was another good feature that it had. One thing we didn't like though about Bally's was that it didn't offer a buffet(but it offered the buffet pass at other casinos). The shows it offered at the casino were actually pretty good, price is right and jubilee. We splurged a bit, and enjoyed the spa that was there.
