We wanted to be at the Four Corners and each time we travel to Vegas, we try a new hotel. (In the past, we've stayed at Paris, the MGM, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, the Golden Nugget, Rio and the Monte Carlo.) We got a good rate on Bally's and thought we'd give them a try. I knew we were getting a basic room but felt we could upgrade since the town was in a sizzling heat wave, it was in the middle of the week and it looked as if the town was half empty. But when I asked about the upgrade, the desk woman signing us in quoted an extravangant price which we rejected. Our room was at the end of a long hall. The hallway itself needed renovation. The rugs was crummy andthe hall itself dark and dingy. Our room was slightly better. It was clean but minimal. Fortunately, Las Vegas is a town where you seldom spend much time in your room!

The room was wonderful and very comfortable. A wonderful value for the price. The staff were all very kind and helpful. They were always happy to help and very pleasant to work with. The only thing I could critique would be that the bathroom sink kept getting dirty. Water would periodically come up from the drain and leave black sediment in it. The housekeeping cleaned it every morning but there was only so much they could do. A great place to stay overall and I love their location on the Strip. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Bally's because it was midway among the various places I wanted to go by walking. I got an excellent rate and good value for the money. It's not high end, but it met my needs and I would stay there again given the same circumstances.

The hotel was a great value for the money. It is centrally located on the strip, which made it easy access to all the attractions. We stayed in the wing that has not been renovated. The furniture and decorations are very outdated, but the view of the strip from our room made up for that. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The casino was big and there were plenty of table games. The restaurant selection is lacking. We found we ate at other hotel restaurants during our stay. It was nice that our hotel was connected to another hotel, which added a lot more variety.
