I needed a last minute place to stay in Vegas and had not budgeted much for a hotel. This hotel was at the right price since all I needed was a place to sleep and was pressed for time. Unfortunately, the room never got very cool, even with the AC on full blast. But maintainance checked it and said it was definitely working, but that as hot as it had been, it may take a while to cool off. They said I could change rooms but time was of the essence and I just needed to get some sleep! The only other problem I had was that one of the towels on the rack was FAR from clean. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell until I wiped my face with it and was overwhelmed by the stench of it. Trust me, it was bad. I blame this on their Eco program where you actually get money to use at their casino for not using or having them wash the towels every day. Gross. I would stay here again, but I will sniff the towels before I use them!! Room was a good size, though. And I liked being just off the strip so it was a quieter.

  • Great hotel for the money. Pretty quiet rooms too.

We had to pay $22 per room to upgrade to the "renovated" rooms. We did and felt it was worth it but it was also very disappointing that after you book the rooms that you had to add additional fees. Even then, it was a good value.

  • A little difficult to find the front desk which is in the casino area.

  • This Hotel Needs Better Ventilation

I had expected more based upon LVH's website and photos. CONS: People smoke and drink alcohol everywhere: hotel lobby, corridors, restrooms, hallways near non-smoking sleeping rooms. My room was filled with cigarette smoke each night. Ventilation is not sufficient so if you have respiratory issues, this is not the place for you. Living in NY where it is illegal to smoke in public places, I found this shocking and unhealthy. When I arrived in the morning (11:00a) to check in, there were hotel guests in the lobby drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes and talking loudly. Hotel is not is the safest area, so not a good idea to walk around alone off property after dark. But I felt the hotel itself was safe. This is definitely NOT a family hotel. The $100. worth of food coupons were worthless to me as I was traveling alone and do not eat red meat. PROS: I was able to check in upon arrival at 11:00a. LVH is not directly on the Strip so you're not barraged with noise and flashing lights all night and the Monorail stop is at the hotel. The breakfast buffet (during the week) is worth the money. Weekend brunch includes champaign and crab legs and cost and additional $5.00 Not a good value for me as I do not drink alcohol with breakfast or eat crab legs.
