I was leary about visiting this hotel after reading reviews online but i was pleasantly surprised. the hotel is located on the monorail so transportation was an ease.. the hotel is clean, rooms are nice and spacious...I would stay here again when i visit vegas...the bar at the pool was amazing the drinks and reasonably priced. I opted to "go green" with room service and rcvd 10.00 a day to use in the hotel.

LVH is definitely a bit worn and shows it. However, it has most of the same features as the "big" Vegas hotels at a fraction of the cost. With the monorail stop right at the hotel, everything is very accessible for a fraction of the cost of taxis. Food choices are limited, but the food that is available is certainly acceptable at the right price. The Casino is well staffed and the dealers and wait staff seemed to go out of their way to make me feel welcome while gambling. "Cool at the pool" happy hour was a great event. Overall, a great value alternative to the luxury Vegas hotels.

The hotel manager was very accomodating, however, I have never stayed at a hotel that could come up with more things to charge for. Internet-$14.00, Gym-$20.00, Printing Boarding Pass-$3.00, Water we didn't drink-$4.00. WOW. On the positive side, they do not charge to use their reltaively small pool and they do not charge a resort fee. The hotel used to be more interesting. It is now a little out of the way and not convenient to the strip.

  • Excellent Hotel & value

Hotel is clean, comfortable and efficiently run. Tram station to the strip is attached to the hotel and runs regularly. I liked the more relaxing atmosphere of being able to get away from the craziness and noise of the strip. Pool area could do with a bit more shade. No parking fees (large adjacent self-parking garage) and no aggrevating resort fees are a definite plus. Restaurants adequate but limited. Only grip is that, for some reason, the tram was shutting down early (midnight) when I was there and this fact was not adequately posted by the city.
