  I recommend this hotel if your funds are tight, however if you want more, be willing to pay & perhaps reside elsewhere. The bathroom was tight. In fact, the walk-in closet was larger than the bathroom. The hotel is also old. The caulking in the bathroom needs a good steaming to get rid of the dirt. There were no chairs for the dining table. My guest used the desk chair & I sat elsewhere, away from the table. I wasn't impressed. It wasn't a "bad" experience, but not one I wish to duplicate. The room was a good value for the money, but the delivered coffee was NOT. It was way to pricey.

• Good place to watch the Superbowl

  The theater at LVH is a great place to watch the Superbowl on a super huge screen and admission is free. There is however considerable waiting in line. This year there was considerable confusion with the management of the line as someone tried to take about 40 people to another room instead of the theater even though these people were only waiting to get in the theater not some place else. I was one of those people. I did however eventually secure a seat despite that. The room itself was a major disappointment. I had no heat the first night there and had to spend hours the next day to get someone to come and fix that as well as the room safe which was non-functional when I arrived and could not be activated by their posted procedure. The faucet in the tub leaked and there was a considerable gouge in the finish of the tub. I did like their sports book which handled the big crowd very well on Superbowl day. Even thought the lines were long they moved very quickly and I believe everyone should have been able to get their bets in. The monorail stops at LVH and gives great low cost access to many points on the Vegas Strip. An all-day pass is only $12. A cab ride to anywhere is about $20 one way. The Ravens helped my overall satisfaction with the trip by winning outright and making the score total over 47.5 points :)
