I'm a resident of San Francisco and I found it pretty overwhelming at the crowds of homeless people that surrounded the hotel (especially in the night). The visitor that was with me found the homeless situation problematic. The hotel room is ridiculously small - the size of a studio (minus a kitchenette). The only good thing I can say is that the hotel is in a central location and for the most part seems to be safe when returning late in the nights. However for the cost I paid it was not worth it. Be wary of extra charges to your room. I was charged and I did not anything from the room. Make sure to check you bank statement afterwards to make sure your charges are accurate!

Awesome hotel, great location, and the staffs were great! The hotel lobby was beautiful, my room was cleaned everyday, and cleaning ladies were so nice. The room was very spacious, quiet & clean. I really like the complimentary flight check in and ticket print out, that really helped me out a lot. Do not park in the hotel parking garage, it's $53/day! Park in the parking garage in front of the hotel, it's $29/day. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel suited our purposes but wasn't anything special. The staff (particularly the front desk) was very rude--i.e., asked her to read me back my room number because there's an echo in the lobby and I couldn't read her handwriting and she snipped "I just told you." Excuse me! If I could tell your 3s from your 5s, it would be a mute point. Be careful walking at night as the neighborhood to the south and east seemed sketchy when we walked to see Billy Elliott. Don't wait in the Starbucks line in the hotel. There are 2 in the next block and only 1 or 2 people in line there--as opposed to 30 in the lobby. Best breakfast nearby was--by far--Mason Cafe--Croissants to die for. Even if we don't stay at the hotel, we'll go back for breakfast. Hotel restaurant had a good spinach salad.
