Top notch very comfortable hotel. I felt at home during six days of meetings. The concierges were very helpful. The reception personnel the nicest and most helpful I have encountered in a while. Great view from the room (city view). However, in the room there was hardly space for one suitcase much less for two. The room which had two beds would have been too small for two persons even though it was sold as such. The breakfast is overpriced but that is no problem because several reasonable breakfast places are within a block or two.

Even though the hotel was very busy with a couple of conferences, they took care of all my needs. Everything was beautiful. The only thing I would have liked to be different was their system of Internet access. Their system is not free. There was not a business center to use.

Me, my husband, and our 5 month old daughter stayed here for Labor's Day weekend and the hotel was very nice.....extremely friendly and accommondating staffs which made the stay very pleasant. We asked for a crib for our daughter when we checked in and it was delivered right away by the time we found our room. I love the location, as mentioned by other reviewers. The room we got had a king size bed and it was a small room for the price....but hey this is San Francisco and space is money. DON'T EAT AT THE URBAN RESTAURANT. Over price and NOT good. We had rib eye steak and half a roasted chicken and it cost close to $100. Food was bland and had no flavor. Eat somewhere else; this is San Fran with some of the best restaurants.

Just blocks from the BART-no need for a car since it is only blocks from the cable car also. So convenient to Union Square and all the area restaurants. Room was nice but small for 2 fullsize beds but we were hardly in the room. Views were magnificent.
