The Flamingo tried to update our rooms, but they didn't fool us. They installed new wood flooring in the living area,a newer T.V., new lamps and a new chaise lounge. The bathroom is still old and disgusting, including a ceiling that the paint is peeling off. The walls are still old, the furniture is still old and outdated. I think it was a newer mattress but I wasn't about to peel back the sheets and check. The hallways are old, outdated and dirty. It always stinks at this hotel. But hey, you aren't there to sleep are you! It's Vegas, you can stay awake all hours of the night and just have the room for your bags and maybe a shower.

Arrived on Mem. Day and stayed 4 nites in a luxury Go room w/ view. Beautiful room, comfy beds, clean, nice bathroom w/ a cool shower, mini-frig, and a safe in closet. View from the 20th floor overlooking Caesar's and mountains behind, WOW! Check-in was a breeze using the self-check kiosks. There must have been 100 people waiting in line at the front desk like a bunch of sheep when you could have DIY. Played a lot of cards in the poker room and I have to say that it is the nicest and best run room I played at the 5 days I was in Vegas. Went to the pool in the ams and water was nice & cool and nice that there wasn't a bunch of kids running around. thx, Flamingo for a great time, and will stay here again.......

All the rooms were recently refreshed, the GO rooms are really nice with plasma tv, remote controlled curtains, LCD tv in bathroom mirror. Room was clean, hotel hallways were just fairly clean, hopefully the hotel lobby and hallways will be remodeled soon. Pool is really nice, but a bit too crowded. I would recommend this hotel especially for it's location on the strip and inexpensive room prices.

The hotel is nice, not very kid friendly. Meal prices are expensive. Margaritavilles Margaritas were not very good. Pool has waterslide for kids, they liked that. Cleanliness isn't kept up during the day. Trays sat in halls for days, blood on elevator floor for hours,hair in bathtub. Our cousins were awoke before 7am to jackhammers, had to ask to have room moved. The computer kiosks for check-in/out is very nice, easy to use. Valet is very fast.

We arrived late on a Betty busy Friday night, but the check in was quick and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately we were given an older room. The TV didn't work properly, the bed area has no ventilation, the carpet was old worm and dirty. There were holes in the walls and the room was in desperate need of a renovation. @ were told the hotel has newer rooms, and e got an old room due to the busy weekend Other than the bad room, we loved the place. The margaritaville casino is fantastic. By far the best service we have ever received in a casino. The location is perfect and we love staying at a place with a little history behind it.
