The room was very clean and very tasteful. The kids enjoyed the amenities of the room and the view. There were two glaring negatives to the stay. 1: Most of you have probably never been to a stockyard, but to me, I felt like cattle waiting in line. You had one person processing people through efficiently and about 5 others on union time... 2: The pool closes at 7:00 pm... that's right, 7:00 pm. My kids were all gung-ho to go swimming and the darn thing closes 2 1/2 hours before sundown! The next morning they got to swim... in a waist deep pool. And the advertised water slide doesn't open until 10:00. If you have kids, take them somewhere else... I certainly will in the future.

Our room was very clean, the service was excellent. A room was ready early (we arrived 6 hours prior to check-in time) and I did not hesitate to pay the $30.00 extra to take the room early. The pool was very nice but we had to get there very early to get chairs. (The hotel really should enforce the no saving chairs rule, this is really the only bad thing I could say about our stay). We would definitely stay at the Flamingo again.

I LIKED THE SIZE OF THE HOTEL. I DID NOT GET LOST IN THE LOBBY. FOR THE MONEY IT WAS A STEAL. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT WE HAD OUR TWO TEENAGERS, AND I WANTED TO USE THE HOT TUB. WELL, THEY HAVE TWO POOLS....ONE FOR GUESTS 21 AND OLDER, WITH THE HOT TUBE, AND THE SECOND POOL FOR MINORS, THAT HAD NO HOT TUB. I WANTED TO SWIM NEAR MY KIDS......UGH. THE SECOND NEGATIVE THING WAS THE POOL CLOSED AT 7PM; WAY TOO EARLY FOR 97* IN THE DESERT.
