    The hotel is dirty and run down but it was cheap and you can't beat the location. I wouldn't recommend staying here but it is my first time so I don't have another Las Vegas hotel to compare to. The bath amenities were just low end hotel brand, nothing special. The casino was nice though and Margaritaville was cool too.

    Bathroom needed a good sweeping, and room was a football field from the elevators, BUT it was right across from Caesar's and pretty much in the middle of the Strip. The bed was so comfortable!!

    I recently stayed at the Flamingo. It was not my first choice of lodging, but I was not making the reservations. First, it took 45 minutes to get checked in on Sunday night no less. Then, we were directed thru the casino floor to get to our elevators pulling luggage with no clearly visable signage for the ramps. Then when we get to our floor we are 60+ rooms from the elevator. By this point, what little positive expectations I had were long gone. The carpet in the hallways was dated, stained, very wrinkled and in some places taped down with duct tape. The room itself was OK. clean for the most part. The bed was too high for my short legs, the mattress had some very loud squeaks in it and it moved. Every time I got up from the bed I had practically lift and shove the mattress back into place. Not to mention it was a hard mattress, one that did not support my arthritic knees. Oh, the yucky pepsi products in the vending machines, $3.00 for a 20 oz bottle. I will not be staying at the Flamingo ever again and I will tell anyone who is making the trip to Vegas to do the same.

    My only complaint was the temperature of the hotel. it is too cold..... in the hallways, the restaurants, the casino, and especially the sunset ballroom where we had our event. ...

    My only complaint was the temperature of the hotel. It is too cold..... In the hallways, the restaurants, the casino, and especially the Sunset Ballroom where we had our event. The temperature could have been several degrees warmer and still have been comfortable. We were shivering every day and every place we went in the hotel.

    This was the perfect hotel to stay at if you want to have access to the strip. Walking distance away from everything That you would want to see in Vegas. We had a beautiful view of the Bellagio Hotel And tons of amenities available to us. We would gladly come back and stay at The Flamingo Hotel.
