We chose the Flamingo because they were running a great special offer and had a nice location on the strip. Entering the hotel was rough for me because it was extremely smoky and the corridor to the elevator was the same. The room left some to be desired, the beds were nice, but all of the fixtures in the room were dirty, ie. curtains, lamp shades, ceiling, etc. We ate at the buffet when we arrived and it was fantastic. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is it....cheap, very cheap in every way imagineable.

Great for college kids
04/12/2011I've already shared with a few colleagues that the flamingo is great for college kids and people that want a loud swimming pool and a party in the halls ...
I've already shared with a few colleagues that the Flamingo is great for college kids and people that want a loud swimming pool and a party in the halls all night, but I will not stay at the Flamingo again. There were empty glasses and trash in the hallways for multiple days - there's no way housekeeping could keep up with a giant frat party! We were with friends and had a blast in Vegas, but prefer more of an adult experience than what we had at the Flamingo.
