    We were right on the strip in Vegas. Realize we had a bargain but it is the Flamingo. The hotel is showing its age. We stayed there but went to the other hotels for fun. Staff were great except for the host at the Burger Joint on Sunday evening. It is amazing what a difference people can make for a place. Saturday we ate at the Burger Joint and loved the staff and the food. Sunday night we figured it would be the same but instead it was no fun and the food was poor quality. The worse part of our stay was the false alarm of their fire alarm in the middle of the night Saturday. That will get your heart beating fast.

    2nd time at Flamingo and shame on me for going back! 8-years ago went and found the Pool to be great, but room and hotel was dirty and needed updating. Came back because wanted a great pool and hotel advertised updated GO Deluxe rooms. Rooms were updated but don't look like they have been cleaned since the update, water did not work one day, carpet so stained, I did not want to walk on it. Table tops also dirty. Casino old and dirty and smelled like smoke even more than Bills next door! Pool is great, but must be in line by 7:45AM to get a place to site. If you have the money to stay elsewhere, DO IT! Don't make my mistake.
