Stayed 2 nights in Flamingo and was very disappointed with the room. Carpet was absolutley FILTHY. It may have been vacuumed but I was afraid to walk on it without my shoes on. THe bathroom had plywood hanging out around the vanity, Why can't they spend some $$ to update this place? We specifically chose to stay here for the great location, gardens and the history of the Flamingo. We were disappointed with how dated eveything looked,. Too bad as we will choose different hotel next time Do NOT waste your money staying here.

Old, filthy, and generally out of date. The furniture, fixtures, walls, carpets, etc. were all out of date, dirty, and in many cases damaged. Duct tape on the carpet in the halls is an example. Stay away.

During our stay we had to change rooms twice. The carpets in the halls and rooms were nasty. We slept in our socks in case we had to get up at night. The faucets in the bathrooms were rusty. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

The location of the Flamingo was great. Took the monrail to the Convention Center which was very convenient. The cafe was excellent great food and service. I really felt that the value of the room met or exceeded my expectaions and was the first time I have stayed at the Flamingo. My overall experience was very good. Thanks Mike
