I enjoyed Flamingo because it was everything Vegas had to offer! Nice pools, casino area and plenty of areas to access the blvd. Wish it was not a smoking faciliity though. I have been coughing ever since we left.

Checkin line confusing-at first-due to reward card lines vs. "check-in" line. Finally asked counter person who directed us to right line. After that all went smooth. Our room -a Go Deluxe was a treat and turned out to be better than expected. It was simple ,but functional with a fine view. Clean and neat as well. Hotel offered a number of shops and places to eat and easy access to strip.

Stayed in a GO Deluxe room with a view of the Strip. It was nice. Hotel location hotel is perfect, price is decent, common areas (hall ways, etc.) need sprucing up though. But that's minor. Overall, I'd stay there again.

I knew going into this trip The Flamingo was an older hotel. When we walked into our room we found a huge red stain on our carpet as if someone had thrown up right in the middle of the floor. I was shocked that they would put anyone in this room. We waited in line for 45 min to change rooms. The next room was still very old and the carpet very dirty. I wore shoes on my feet at all times. We had asked for extra pillows at check in and called an addtional time and never received them. The shades on the lamps in the room were torn as well. It was just not a nice room. They need definate updating and at the very least new carpeting! The one nice thing I will say is that the houskeeping staff was very nice and very accomadating to us and they have the best location on the strip. The trip was cheap but I will not stay at the Flamingo again.
