This was my first stay at the Flamingo. I have stayed at other hotels on the strip but wanted to be in the middle, so we decided to stay here for our recent trip. Our room was 15057. The bathroom vanity looked like a woodchuck or other wood loving animal came in and had a great meal. Also, in the room, the lamp shades we cracked and stained. This will be my last stay at this hotel. Clean up your act if you want people to return.

Excellent reasonably priced hotel with about one of the best locations on the strip. The room is clean but lacks coffee, refrigerator, note pads; but it had safe, nice beds, and friendly staff. I would stay there again. Bell desk very friendly and helpful.

In short, the elevators are dingy and need a good scrubbing; the toilet in the room required about 3 flushes just to get the TP down; the shower's water pressure was minimal at best; it took over 15 minutes just to get hot water to the shower. Overall, I would NOT recommend staying here. The location is great because it is at the center of the strip, but I am a Hilton HHonors member and own Hilton timeshare (points) and have come to expect MUCH BETTER from Hilton properties. I would have stayed at the HGVC property behind the Flamingo but they had no availability by the time I called. Considering its prime location, I think they really should invest in a re-vamping of the entire hotel. Unless they are offering rooms for less than $60/night, I would search to stay elsewhere.

Mattress was worn out. Sheer curtains were filthy - looked like they had not been washed in 10 years. Bathroom fixtures were tired - the vanity had been repainted probably more than once and the paint was peeling and cracked.
