For what we paid this was an excellent deal. Initially we were very disappointed without room. Carpet and easy chair were filthy. Was going to ask for different room, but the supervisor for housekeeping came and checked out room and had the carpet and chair cleaned within 15 mintues. After that, the stay was great.

When I arrived, they asked me if I wanted a king bed or two queen beds. I asked for a king and they discovered that they did not have a king available in the class of room that I reserved. So rather than giving me a room with two queen beds (which I would have been happy with), they upgraded me to a larger room with a king bed. As compared with someone I was traveling with that went to Caesar's Palace, I was treated royally.

I was disappointed with the hotel in general. For a iconic hotel, the first room in which we were placed looked as if it had back-to-back Bachelors Parties. The lamp shade was missing, the carpets were well passed stained and the bathroom vanity's laminate was peeling off and looked as if it had flooded as the wood was buckled. We requested a different room that was better. There were still missing lampshades and stains on the wallpaper. They are renovating apparently and the pool is beautiful but packed. For the money, it was okay. I may stay there again but ONLY in a renovated room.
