Excellent location. Good mobility for handicap access. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds and bed linens were wonderful. Our first room looked like a dorm room gone bad. The staff easily moved us to another. Again, the carpet was dirty; out-dated bathroom; no shampoo, soap, lotion, etc.; no wash cloths or bath mat. Thankfully, we weren't in our room very much.

Trash and graffiti in the elevator up to my room. The hallway carpet was so old and worn you could hardly see the pattern. The rug had stretched in places and was folded over, big safety problem. The grime and stains were a perfect setting for the food and dirty dishes left in the hallway overnight. The comforter had a cigarette burn, in a no smoking room? Inexcusable. I have camped at a KOH campground that was in better shape the the trashy Flamingo.

During my stay the weather temperature dropped. I was unable to adjust the room temperature. I had to call for maintenance twice for help in getting my room warmer. Other than this, my stay was good.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but it really wasnt that bad. It was a bit on the older side but unless you are going for very high buck places I believe most of the hotels are getting old. The rooms could have been cleaned a bit better. I do believe there was a vitamin on the floor when we got there that was not ours and it was still there when we left. All and all I believe for the money we spent it was a great deal and I loved that it was pretty much located at the center of the strip.
