Our stay began early and we wanted to check in early at hotel. Dont begin to think you can, they wont let you. Its 3pm no matter what. Pool area was closed as I was recommended to stay here because they have a very large entertaining pool area. very disappointed !! Rooms were clean and nice. for the location of the Flamingo you cant go wrong, plenty of things to do all over the place in walking distance,, overall, I would stay again.

  • Needs an update, but location is great.

Great location on the strip, nice theme( if only the pool was open this time of year- not being open takes away from the whole 'pink tropical' theme), and one of the only Seagel/Sinatra casinos left! The bad-subpar room:old water spicket shower, firm bed without a comforter, no flat screen(s)-an old 27" analog with horrible audio that didn't sound clear no matter how high you turned it up, ironing board cover was ripped and wouldn't conform to the board itself. Pro's from the room-plenty of chairs, good view out the BACK of the Hotel, and plenty of square footage. Their staff and customer service was excellent and helpful.

  • Great location, not great rooms.

We chose this hotel primarily for the location. The location is excellent - dead center of the strip across from Caesars, near The Bellagio, The Mirage, The Venetian, and our favorite place to gamble - Bill's Gamblin Hall. We stayed in a basic deluxe room and were very disappointed. The room was not clean, it was all very dated, old, and used. The hair dryer started smoking as soon as I turned it on. (I left a note for housekeeping to replace it but they simply replugged it in. Needless to say, I didn't dry my hair at all during the trip.) Perhaps the updated rooms are better, but this was worse than your average Holiday Inn. The rest of the property was ok - the Margaritaville Casino and restaurant were nice, but not overly impressive. I like the history of the property, but it is definitely substandard when compared to the newer resorts in town. We will not likely stay here again. If you are looking for nothing more than a so/so bed right in the middle of the action, this could be your place, though.

The hotel has a great location on the strip. It's close to lots of attractions and restaurants which can save you the taxi fare. The hotel is a little older than most and could use a little renovation but I didn't find it to be filthy or anything. You can't really knock this place too much because it's such a good price. The rooms were nice and adequate and for a little more money you can get one of the newly remodeled rooms. I stayed here over the summer time and my favorite thing about this place is the amazing pool. Super fun if you like pool parties. I had such a great time that I'm planning a girls trip this spring and staying here again.

  • The staff was super friendly!

Not the most modern but definitely worth the money.
