I love the Parc 55. It's location is great and the rooms are comfortable. Having said that, I was disappointed with the new management - Wyndham. The check in was perfunctory. The room was not what I had requested, and I watched another couple get a significant upgrade because the room key they were given opened a door to a room with another occupant. Worst of all was the valet parking. They appeared overwhelmed when I arrived at about 10:00 pm. Whan I checked out at about 11:00 on Labor Day, their were a lot of people waiting for their vehicles. It took me about 45 minutes to get my car after I delievered the ticket to the valet desk. The garage was littered with cars that were not being stored. It was awful. Despite that, I will give them another chance.

The hotel room is VERY small, so I would not stay here if your bringing your teens along. No fridge was a bummer also. Frankly, sleeping in a full size bed was somewhat of an adjustment as well, and it was hard as a rock. However, the location is great if you plan on using public transportation, as we did. The purchase of a City Pass while making my hotel reservations was worth every cent and more. We used public transportation the entire time and enjoyed most of the attractions included in the pass.

Not much to say. Doors slam loudly, sirens and horns - welcome to SF! Great staff, relatively clean, beds were a bit stiff towels and toilet paper were scratchy. You can do better than this dated hotel ,which is always busy due to the low price and abundance of rooms.

05/10/2010This is a very nice hotel in a great location. friendly staff, nice rooms. my 3 issues were, expensive internet, no room fridge/mini bar, and no dresser.
