Get ready to pay. When you check in they hit you with a 22 $ a day parking fee and a 50$ deposit that they will not wave. Despite being in a good location to the liberty bell, city hall and the art museum. I wouldn't recommend this hotel just for the hassle at the front desk. Also the pool is small cold and out door on the 7 flood roof.

  • The staff at this hotel made us feel welcome and were extremely nice and helpful

The best part about this hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. It was also nice to be able to walk out of the front door and walk to nice restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and be a short walk to the historic district. The bathroom was on the small side and the beds were not as comfortable as other hotels, but the location and the staff make up for them.

  • Great Location! Great Price! Great Breakfast!

Two girlfriends and I had a "girls night away" in Philadelphia on a Saturday night. We chose this hotel as our base. The location is fantastic! Within walking distance of many great shops, attractions and restaurants. The on-site parking was easy and affordable. The room was very, very clean. The breakfast was great - bagels, toast, yogurt, eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit, and all the fixins'. I will say that the coffee was pretty awful though (my only complaint). There is a great little mini-market across the street that sells cold beer, snacks, and umbrellas - which we needed for a rainy night. The hotel was very quiet for a Saturday night. Check-in time is 3, but we arrived at noon and were able to check into our room. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or personal travel, with or without kids.

  • Third trip to Philadelphia and this was the best hotel yet.

Lots of spots nearby for lunch and dinner. Parking is extra as is expected in the downtown area. Did not try the pool, but could see lots of people in it from our window. Found out later there is a special rate for Penn visitors.
