The room was very nice. The air was clear enough to see the mountains in the distance. We watched the Disney fireworks from our room. I did not like to have to pay for parking (I must have had a disgusted look on my face because the front desk person immediately said they would reduce the charge to $7.00/night (still too much)). The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was a good size, not crowded while we were there and it was clean.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that $200.00 was to be held on our credit card for incidentials. We were unaware of this practice and were told this is now common practice amongst the hotels. (40.00 a night) This was something we were not prepared for. I must note we took this vacation on somewhat of a tight budget. The resturant food was just o.k. but the waitstaff were super friendly. Something we did learn on this vacation is to buy your Disney Hopper passes at the front desk and there is quite a savings.

This hotel is a very good value for the money. It is close to the entrance to Disneyland, but it's quite a distance from the entrance to the parking, so if you have older people or small children, it's better to take the shuttle. You can also see the fireworks from the room, if you are on the correct side of the hotel, so ask for that!
