10 minutes from downtown Charleston. Quiet location and I felt safe. Checked in under two minutes. Flawless! While I did not eat at any of the local restaurants in Mt. Pleasant, there were many to pick from. That's one of the reasons I stayed there. My room was very clean. Bathroom was spotless. (Great job, Anna) It was a non-smoking room but i could slightly smell smoke from other rooms. Not a deal killer, just something I noticed. No coffee maker in room but no big deal. If it was provide, the coffee would have been sub-par motel room coffee. Starbucks is located within 200 yards. For the price and location; Awesome value!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a clean place close to downtown or Boone Hall Plantation, I recommend this Red Roof Inn. It is basic without frills, but you are in down town Charleston in 10 minutes. Some things to note: the keys are not the typical swipe key, they are shaped like a key and are big and bulky; bring your own shampoo and conditioner; there is no elevator; the location is close to everything; avoid the Huddle House. The road construction is bothersome and because of it the signage is poor.

Good place to stay. It was driving distance of Patriots Point, Downtown Charleston. The motel had adequate accommodations. Spacious rooms, well designed areas. The beds were small & with extra pillows it was an alright night of sleep.
