We would never book with Red Roof again!

We checked into the Red Roof Inn at Myrtle Beach and decided not to stay after vewing two rooms, the elevator and the hallways. The rooms had not been dusted for quite some time, the windows of one room were so clouded from moisture inbetween the panes you could not see clearly, the bedspread had cigarette burns and stains that I would not like to spend much time on wondering what they were!!! The staff were very friendly and understanding, but the hotel was too filthy so we moved onto another accommodation which was older, but CLEAN!!!!! We have crossed RED ROOF INNS off our list of preferred places to stay.

We stayed here one night because we couldn't check into our condo until the next day and wanted to get out of town a day early. This hotel is in an awesome location (there's a waffle house right next door and mini golf courses all up and down the road) and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a few issues with noise (we heard every single door open and close and vacuums early the next morning and an issue with the plumbing the next morning before we checked out) but for what I paid for the room, I really can't complain. Would stay here again for a quick getaway but for a longer term stay, I'd spend the extra money for a nicer, quieter place.

The pet friendly feature is a big deal for me. I travel with my small dogs and I love that I found a nice hotel in MB that allows me to bring them. The staff at this hotel is great. They are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast they offer is really nice, and the lady that does the breakfast service is great. She made us feel right at home and was so helpful. The location is great. The pool is very nice and the walk to beach is short. The only con I can think of is there could be a better place to walk your dogs. But that isn't a deal breaker for me. I have stayed her 5 times now because we come to MB often and I will definitely stay here again.
