wouldn't exchange my request for a non-smoking room
10/18/2012Beware, this hotel is backed up to the railroad tracks with trains going by several times an hour. their whistle was very disturbing.

Downgraded rooms without notice..Failure to supply fold out bed without extra charge to make up for it..Train track 50 yards from hotel..Moldy shower head..Phones inop..night life loud ...Wait at front desk for service 20 minutes at one time before the girl showed up...terrible stay..would never stay there again...right across the street and all around the area ar places you can actually sleep..

The first room was a smoking room. I had requested a non smoking room, the second room was already occupied and not inclined to share, the third room, just like Goldilocks, was just right. However the train tracks are quite near and while a good value I recommend taking ear plugs. Also use both locks in case your room gets sold a second time. Or put out the do not disturb sign. The free breakfast leaves much to be desired.

I have stayed at Red Roof Inn's before and witht the upgrade they have completed on them there actually really nice. When we arrived there the room was clean but the room had an odor that resembled someone with major foot odor and that made us very uncomfortable. Plus the bed a slept on, had a broken box spring and with not mounted properly on the bed rails underneath causing a big dip in the middle of the bed. With the exceptions of the aforementioned items, the stay was nice.
