Business oriented clientele
02/14/2011The hotel has a nice location, a good fitness room, and modern decor. it is geared to the business traveler, a bit impersonal.

The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The concierge was helpful and was able to answer all my questions about how to get around town. I thought the rooms were good in size; however, the decor was kind out outdated. I thought the TV was very small as well. I think it would be nice to make internet free.

San Francisco is always a favorite family destination for us. Staying in SF with kids needs to be affordable and convenient. The Marriott Marquis satisfies all of our requirements. To top it off, the staff is always friendly and helpful. They even take the time to acknowledge our kids and make them feel welcome, too. The room was clean, roomy and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Every year I take my daughters to SF around the holidays. We go with my girlfriend and her daughter. With 5 of us in a room, they are always gracious to give us a large room with enough space for a roll away. This hotel has large rooms so we can all stay together and not be tripping over each other. In addition, the rooms are modern and clean, the lobby is beautiful and the hotel is close to all of our favorite shopping stops.
