My fiance and I planned an engagement trip to N'Orleans and the Marriot was absolutely perfect. Close to everything without being in the middle noise of Bourbon St. St Charles Street Car right across the street, Bourbon St. a block away and the Harbor and Mississippi River and Casino to your left. The rooms are a little outdated but super comfortable and the beds were perfect. The hotel staff was very attentive and the complimentary peach ice tea was a nice treat after a hot N'orleans walk. The elevator system is kind of weird and the lobby can be extremely busy but overall, we loved it.

We have stayed at this hotel many time in the past but this was the first time since the redue. Very nice with many places to sit relax, or watch sports in big screen. The staff made is feel welcome and comfortable. We will do this again, and a lot sooner

After reading all the reviews I was a bit worried about the hotel. Turns out I had no reason to be worried. The Marriot was fantastic! We got a corner room a on the 12th floor. The view was amazing! The bed was so comfortable, my husband and I slept great. The maid service cleaned our room everyday and they did a fantastic job! The elevators worked great. Overall We had an amazing time. The hotel was great and we would stay again.
