Hotel was under construction. Water was turned off one night which we were warned about. Then the next day when we got back from touring water was turned off again. What you really want out of hotel, good bed and hot shower, bed was great but not having water was very frustrating.

This was my first time staying in this hotel. I have made many trips to new orleans, but usually stay at a different hotel. Our room exceeded my expectations. I can't say that I spent a great deal of time in the hotel room, but I have never travelled and been excited about getting back to our big, comfortable hotel room. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for Mardi Gras 2011 and I had the time of my life. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgable about what was going on in town. They also gave me some great recommendations on places to go for food and drinks. You're a quick walk from some great bars, bourbon street, the trolly, you name it. The room exceeded my expectations in every way. I never saw room service once, but my room was always spruced up whenever I cam back to it. Even one of the nicer hotel beds I've slept on. Also, even with all the mardi gras partying going on, when I was in my room I didn't hear a thing outside or in other rooms which was great since I'm a light sleeper. I highly recommend this hotel, and NOLA in general. I will be back for sure, hopefully soon!

I stayed here for two horrendous nights during Mardi Gras weekend. The hotel was unable to: - Provide room keys that worked until the 5th time they were issued - Provide bathroom access when I couldn't get into my room - Provide the WIFI they claim to have - Get the cot we requested into our room until 7 hours after checkin and two reminders - Include a "Do Not Disturb" sign for the room - Locate the TV remote that was supposed to be in our room - Respond to ANY complaints without a sharp or nonchalant attitude from the front desk (except for Todd who was professional and helpful) On the other hand...the hotel is - In an ideal location, 1.5 blocks from Bourbon in the French Quarter - Has comfortable beds - Is clean (I think it's cleaner when it's not Mardi Gras) - Is reasonably priced I would stay here again if absolutely no other options were available, but there are too many friendly, organized B&B's and nice hotels in the area for this to happen.
