Got stuck without a hotel for one night in Vegas and Fairfield was our only option. We payed top dollar and were super disappointed. We were greeted in the afternoon with the stench of paint as they were painting the front doors (with a rattle can of spray paint). The staff were polite and helpful but the exterior and interior of the building needs updating badly. The atmosphere was dingy, the room was small, dingy . We did not step foot in the pool. There was an open bar of soap in the restroom etc.. Would not stay there again.

Clean and conveniently located near the Strip. No gambling or slot machines in the hotel, which we appreciated. The staff was very friendly and helped resolve our booking problem (caused by Travel online booking the wrong type of room for us) without any hassles. (They were much more courteous It is also right next to a strip mall with four restaurants, the one that we tried (a Thai-Chinese fusion place) was affordable and outstanding. But of course the real reason to stay here is to get to the Strip without paying Strip-hotel prices. They provide a free shuttle service to the Wynn and back, but it stops running at 11pm, though a taxi ride back cost less than * dollars. Regarding amenities. The TVs have only regular stations or ridiculously expensive pay-per-view (averaging $* per movie.) Breakfast was ok, featuring a make-your-own waffle station, baked goods and somewhat watery coffee. The swimming pool was a bit of a disappointment. With a not very attractive view of the parking lot, it is NOT heated, and the water was a bit too cold (in late May/early June) for us even though we are from the East Coast and used to chilly waters. The "whirlpool" is inside, so not much fun. There is a business center that provide free (but rather sluggish) Internet and free printouts. On the whole I would recommend this place for budget travelers who plan on spending most of their time seeing Vegas instead of experiencing the hotel visit itself. If you are looking to enjoy hotel amenities you would probably be better of springing for a slightly more expensive place.
