As info...we booked the Courtyard Rooms (really Old small hotel rooms with 'double' beds in them!) and had to stay in them for the 1st couple nights but the Hotel was able to upgrade us to the Tower Rooms once they were available. HUGE difference and definately worth the few xtra bucks to upgrade! Look closely at the room pics cuz the really nice ones are the Tower Rooms. The hotel is AWESOME tho ! Excellent restraurants and service. Palace Station offers "FREE" shuttle service to AND from the Airport so DONT get suckered into paying the Xtra Fees for Gray Line Shuttle! This hotel is a little ways from the strip and downtown , but with the FREE shuttle service they provide....it's Great !!! Most definately will stay again ! :)

For CES'11, this Hotel & Casino is close enough at affordable price. If that was not for a business trip with limited budget, I would rather pay more for a hotel with elevator, quite nights without the noises of trucks unloading goods, more comfortable bed, decent bathroom,......

  • A good affordable alternative.

When you're going to Vegas you might feel like you should go all out, and stay at the expensive hotels right on the strip, because you're going to Vegas! But the smarter choice might be to just stay near the strip and save some dough. After all, you're most likely not going to be in your hotel that much anyway. I stayed at the Palace Station during peak season in summer, and was perfectly content with the room and the service. And I saved a lot more money than I would have if I stayed on the strip. The only downside I would say is that if you plan on going back and forth between your hotel and the strip frequently, it might not be the best option to you. It's best for people who don't need to be at their hotel often except to sleep, which was the case for me.

  • Definitely a winner!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here and will continue to stay here. I go to Vegas 1-2 times a year and the only reason I stay somewhere else is because I'm going with someone that has never been and if it's your 1st time in Vegas I believe you should stay on the strip. Other than that, this place is a gem. They have 5-7 restaurants and every one of them is good to excellent. I go to Vegas a lot for the world furniture market and this hotel is close. It is one exit down from world market right off the interstate. The rooms are big, always clean, comfortable and extremely reasonable. The gambling is great too. All the locals go for the gambling so you know it must be good.
