Our stay at the hotel was great.

Great place for a convention.

Old and noisy.....can do better at the price. Shuttle goes to just one spot on strip so if you walk some distance away, be prepared to walk back to single pick up location. Felt cheated by the extra fees as it seemed to be a way for the hotel to jack up charges with fees for service that we and those we spoke with didn't use. We had an early flight out and front desk advised us that shuttle didn't run early and they offered no alternative. Room had a tiny shower (no tub). The shower curtain circled the shower stall and kept getting caught in the crack of my behind when I'd shower.

It really was a nice hotel! Beautiful when you walk in, rooms were clean...we ate at most of the restaurants in there and the food was fabulous! The only complaint that I have is that the front desk should say something about the rewards card first thing, so you can take advantage of the cheaper buffet prices!

The Palace Station was about what I expected for the price we paid. The room was very small and the heater/air conditioner was so close to the bed that we had to use the bedspread to cover the fan. My main complaint is that the hotel is a long way off the strip and to get to the strip you either had to take a taxi--$20 each way--or take the hotel shuttle which only runs hourly and only makes one stop at the far north end of the strip. I will say that the staff were friendly and the breakfast at the restaurant was good. But I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.
