After reading other comments about this hotel having a garbage truck noise problem in the courtyard, I chose the tower and paid 60 more dollars. I think that problem was only one area though, and as long as one isn't near that area, it would be fine.

The good news -- the price is very good, the off-strip location is convenient, parking close to the room, and the room was adequate. The bad news -- the first non-smoking room I was shown reeked with smoke (the second one was fine), no shower cap, housekeeping never showed after the first day, and a forehead-cracking granite shelf right over the sink where you bend over to brush your teeth. Opaque shower curtain blocked out all light so you were showering in a dark cave. I'd stay there again (I was there for a conference, so only slept in my room).

Great place to stay; nice and quiet; about 1/2 mile off of the strip; free shuttle service to the airport and places on the strip; many places to eat in the hotel and across the street; breakfast was only $1.99 for bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast; lunch was only $2.99 for a cheeseburger and fries; dinner was only $7.99 for steak and shrimp!
