I've stayed here before. It was pretty much the same as I remember it. It still provides a shuttle to and from the airport. Of course proper etiqute is tip. Which I did!!! It also provides a shuttle to and from the strip in two different locations. Actually 2 drop off points, 1 pick up point. The buffet is good. Changs is Excellent!!! For the most part is was not a bad experience. Most of the staff I encountered were pretty friendly. I will stay again.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night during the week, Palace Station is as good as any. The room provided through this website was in a building outside of the casino, which I found to be slightly shady, but the amenities were satisfactory. The actual room was really quite beautiful--it seemed to be fairly recently remodeled--but getting to the room was not what I had pictured. There is no elevator in the courtyard rooms building, but there are only two floors, so if you don't mind carrying your luggage up one flight of stairs, this doesn't present much of a problem. The hallways seem old and a bit run down, but like I said, wait til you see the room. Lots of space, large TV, nice but small bathroom (no bathtub--at least not in the room I saw), internet connection, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and room service arrived much earlier than the estimated 45 min from the time we ordered. It was nice and quiet, too--apparently OJ Simpson was busy breaking and entering on the night we were there, and we didn't hear a peep! Again, very friendly and helpful staff, nice, if distant, inexpensive rooms, and a free airport shuttle. I would stay at the Palace Station again.

We had moved to that hotel from another, because the other was the worst I have ever stayed in. The Palace Station was great , we got great service all the way around, the food was excellent. The employees were friendly, and very helpful. The pool also stays open to 11pm, and the others only stay open to about 7pm.

I wouldn't come back to this hotel. But I noticed there was a lot of elderly people & families, I was traveling alone. 1} When I checked in, the front desk wanted a $* security deposit, (you get it back) no problem, but I don't remember being told this before I got there. Good thing I had it in cash because I already maxed out my credit card. 2} When I ordered food from room service they were telling me I had to pay in cash because they couldn't take the money out of the deposit I made to the hotel, okay, whatever! 3} When I was playing the slot machines all the cocktail waitress didn't even offer me a drink, but they ask all the other players if they wanted anything to drink. They kept walking like I wasn't even there. 4} Don't eat at the "Pasta Palace" because its a waste of $$. Olive Garden taste a lot better & it can be considered more authentic. Also the "Grand Cafe" I had their steak dinner. It's okay, but the hostess acted like she was doing me a favor by giving me a menu & showing me my seat. 5} Front desk asked me for my ID when I was checking out. hmmm. 6} If you're going to take money out of their ATM machine, (inside the Palace Station casino) expect a $* charge. I hope I discourage everyone not to come here.

  • Everything awesome, except view from room was brick wall.
