    I did not like staying in the Courtyard room. First of all, there are no elevators at this 2 story courtyard. There were no directions or signs directing you to the various room. It was like a huge maze without any direction whatsoever. The ice machine clostest to our room was always out of order. I would never recommed this hotel, nor would I ever stay here again.

    Although clean, comfortable, and came at an OK price, Palace Station has two things going against it. First, it is off the strip and at least 2 miles north of the Rio. Shuttle service is available to the strip, but only runs once an hour from 9 AM to 11PM. After 11 it's a $12+ taxi ride back. The 1 mile walk to the monorail is possible, but STRONGLY not advised after dark. Shuttle service to the airport is also provided, but it too has limited runs of once an hour from 6 AM to 11PM. With the airport construction it took 45 minutes for my luggage to come off the conveyor, so plan accordingly. If you miss the hotel shuttle on zero level, there are at least 3 shuttle companies for - 1/2 price of a taxi - doing business on level 1. Second, be prepared for the "surprise" hotel surchase of $5+ for the fitness center, shutle, and phone, which was not included in the "total" Travel agency price. This nickel-and-dime maneauver was dissapointing given this good hotel/casino is trying to lure customers to their off-the-beaten-path location. However, despite these two issues, I would stay here again for three reasons: the Irish pub has Murphy's Irish Stout on tap (kudos for the staff for realizing there are other stouts in Ireland besides Guiness), the buffett and diner food quality was good, and the rooms a bit clearn/nicer than equally priced options on the strip.

    Rooms in the main part of the hotel were nice. The room that I had was located in the courtyard section which had a view of an alley. This section should probably be updated to more current status. Other than that, the rest of the property was very nice. The people were friendly and the complimentary shuttle service was awesome!

    I'm not sure what all the hype is about w/reviewers knocking on this hotel. You get what you pay for really. This was a great place to stay at (more like sleep at). That's all you really do in Vegas. If all you need is a place to sleep at and relax after a day of sight seeing this is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean too. Didn't get to try the pool or the gym but the facilities looked great. I would stay here again! Most definately!

    THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME STAYING THERE, AND TRUST ME IT WILL BE MY LAST!! FRONT DESK WAS JUST AS BAD AS THE 1ST TIME I STAYED. AND I WAS CHARGED A HIDDEN FEE OF $* PER ROOM OIN TOP OF WHAT online travel website TOOK OUT FOR MY STAY.
    I DID GET A UPGRADE FROM MY LAST STAY, BUT NEVER GOT TO MEET THIS THERESA PRICE, THAT ASKED ME TO ASK FOR HER WHEN I GOT THERE. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFOR STAYING HERE.
