The Park Plaza wears its classic, early 20th century charm well amidst the restaurants and shops that are trappings of the day. I stayed here as a little girl and thought it was so elegant; I was thrilled to have that impression unchanged by the end of our stay at the Park Plaza. Staff were courteous, friendly and professional - they upgraded our room and amenities at check in, and brought up our bags immediately. The room was small, but on concierge level - this meant a view and free breakfast, tea time cookies and cocktail hour appetizers in the concierge lounge. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Housekeeping & room service walked in without even a knock. I had a package upgrade including dinner, champagne, breakfast. All of which were delivered cold, unannounced. I could hear the neighbors and all of their intimate details of their stay. Very disturbing and gross for the price I paid for this. Next time I will go elsewhere, Park Plaza really let me down.

The property is beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for business and shopping needs/wants. Within walking distance to the theatre district and shopping, right in the middle of wonderful restaurants. An amazing value for the $$.

02/07/2011Hotel was very nice inside, rooms were clean and confortable. bathroom is a little outdated but clean. just very expensive for a one night stay in boston.
