I stayed in there during a conference. The overall experience was OK but nothing stood out for the price I paid. I did like the ease of getting around to other fine restaurants nearby. It was close to alot of things.

Front desk and room service are all top notch. The wired (yes WIRED) internet, that you have to pay EXTRA for, is embarrassing for a hotel in this price range. No one should be chained to the table while emailing in 2010, and to have to pay for internet access at a hotel in this price range is ludicrous. The room was clean but showing it's age. Loose electrical outlets near the table that you have to fool endlessly with to charge your laptop. In the bathroom,... a shower floor with soft spots and creaks while taking a shower, in addition to paneling that was broken around the edge of the shower wall. Overall, a beautiful old hotel and great staff, but administration that obviously is resting on its laurels and not attempting to compete. The overall experience should be much sharper for the price.
