My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Caesars. Upon check-in, I asked for an upgrade and we were given a free upgrade to the Palace Towers(we had already been given a Forum Tower upgrade in our package) which included a huge room and bathroom with a jacuzzi. Everything at Caesars was beautiful and kept very clean. The hotel itself is pricey, but you get what you pay for. The meals were delicious and the service outstanding. We went down the street to gamble because Caesars tables were very high the weekend we were there. It was an awesome way to spend our long weekend. I will go again. Be sure to try out Qua Spa. It was a wonderful experience for me after walking the strip for two days.

I expected more from Ceasars Palace. My expectations are pretty reasonable, I don't expect someone to be at my every whim. The place was clean and they were well organized. But when checking in I should have been more aggressive when seeking an upgrade on a room. The place was empty and they gave me a standard room with a lousy view. I probably could have done better had I done my homework and negotiated. Getting a drink at a table or at the sports book was next to impossible. Even when seated at the VIP section of the sports book, I simply could not get a cocktail waitress. I inquired with the desk about golf and a few other activities and they couldn't really be bothered. I called for room service and nobody picked up the phone. I called the front desk with a question and nobody picked up the phone. Ultimately, I enjoyed the experience and it's a nice place...but the staff lacked the sense of urgency and pride in a job well done that I expected.

Our room was by the ice machine, therefore pretty loud. The hot water in the shower didn't work. The TV was old and hadn't been upgraded to a flat screen. There was chipped paint and in general it wasn't the cleanest room. Seemed a little rundown for as pricey as it was to stay there.

I Had a great time in Vegas during my Christmas stay. I stayed at Caesars Palace this time. Of all the Casinos I stayed at, I was really impressed by Caesars staff. I stayed across from my father who vistied Vegas for the first time. I was given a room where the previous guest forgot to take there luggage with them. That is ok, because it was 8:30 in the morning and Caesars was accomadating my early check in. Not only did they give me another room, I was given a voucher for a free dinner or lunch or breakfast for room service. I had a guest with me and I did not book two beds in the room and called guest service again, and not only was I given another room but a larger room with a separate bath and shower. The rooms were beautiful. I didn't have a veiw of the strip, but I don't go to Vegas to stare out to the windows, I go to be among the crowds looking at the hotels. So the rooms were good. How friendly was the staff. All I can say is the staff is friendly. Ever questioned I had to where a place was, I was given friendly helpful directions. Also, I am a person who not by choice do stand out whereever I go. SoI got friendly smiles and even the staff came up to me because I was in the Christmas spirit. For those who have never stayed at Caesars, give it a try then stay at one of the other casinos and you will see the difference. Now I am not a gambler, I don't go to Vegas to gamble, I love taking advantage of the bufetts and shows they offer.
