Caesars is right in the middle of everything, so if you want luxury Caesars is one of the nicest. but if you are looking for a nice room, nice location, etc, but at a much less expensive price try some of the other places riight next door or across the street. But hey, it's nice to splurge every once in a while, and Caesar's is the place.

  • if you don't smoke or drink, you might want to find another town. Seems everyone

Caesars is great in good weather, if you are trapped inside on a freezing cold (or too hot?) day... you must endure the passage through the casino to get anywhere....and if you don't smoke, that can be torture. One morning I found a man urinating in the ashtray on the 11th floor near the elevators... it was about 10am.. pretty gross any time of the day. VERY VERY expensive for the little things, like coffee, tea or anything you need in a pinch. SO your room might be cost effective, but NOTHING ELSE IS... meals are absurdly expensive, and its hard to find anywhere to eat not in a casino.... next time we will try DOWNTOWN....

  • Not overly impressed.

When in Vegas, I am hardly in my room. My husband and I go to Vegas often and stay in a very low cost hotel. We thought we would try a "nicer" hotel for our honeymoon so we stayed at Ceasars. It was OK, but we often ended up back at our favorite cheaper hotel most of the time because Ceasars just wasn't quite our style.

I have stayed at Caesar's Palace for work 21 days over the last 3 years (October). Each time it is the same. Understaffed at the front desk for check in. Overbooked, waiting for rooms to be ready. The pool(s) are beautiful. There is a lot of shade in the fall months over the pool area. One drawback, is that the main pool seems to always have an "event" going on, and is closed or closed early for prep. The housekeeping staff is wonderful. Room service is prompt and courteous. The casino is fun. The restaurants and availability for world-class shopping right under your roof is fantastic. This is a wonderful location on the Strip! I would return. :)

  • Beautiful hotel, PERFECT location but expensive!

This was our first time to Las Vegas, and Caesar's Palace was a GREAT choice for first-timers. The location is in the center of the strip, right where the action is! It was an easy walk to several hot spots. Plus, Caesar's casino and grounds are gorgeous, and the theme is really cool. The pool (Garden of the Gods) is AMAZING - huge, beautiful, and clean - probably my favorite part of our stay. We enjoyed shopping around the mall area attached to Casear's casino and Pure nightclub (we got free passes for being guests of the hotel!) There were a few cons, but they did not ruin our stay by any means. Our room was in the older wing - it was a basic/deluxe room, no frills. It was nice, clean, and the beds were comfy. BUT - the bathroom had such a weird layout. It had NO DOOR. My boyfriend and I are very close, but it's asking a lot to do all of your business with no door for privacy. The shower stall was also very awkward and had no shelves to put soap. These ended up being minor inconveniences, but for the price of our stay I hoped for better. My biggest complaint was the cost of things within the hotel. It was VERY difficult to find low-cost food options in/around Caesar's. I know other hotels have moderately priced buffets and even fast food places/delis/coffee shops, but Caesar's has none of the above. Every restaurant and shop is very expensive (and in my opinion, not commensurate with what you get). And while you can venture out to other hotels to eat, sometimes you just want a quick bite from someplace nearby. All in all, we had a fabulous time! While there may be other hotels on the strip with a better overall value, we were treated very well and had a BLAST enjoying what Vegas has to offer!
