Enjoyed our stay at Le Pavilion. It is conveniently located and is decorated inside in with beautiful antiques and chandeliers. The staff was most accommodating. There is a bar in the lobby with very friendly bartenders who serve great drinks. I highly recommend staying at Le Pavilion.

Our first time at this hotel, booked on line at a good price. Hotel is very well kept for being as old as it is (on Nat. Historic Registry) room was very nice and roomy (no flat screen) access to rooftop pool and hot tub a bonus even in summer. Small well equipped exercise room. Late night (9-10pm) complementary BPJs a treat! Well go again, despite a small problem with grit (?) on bedsheets.

While some might want to stay in the French Quarter, we found staying in the Central Business District was perfect. We were about 4-6 blocks from the Quarter and the same distance to the Riverwalk. The hotel was one of the most elegant I have stayed in for a very long time - Excellent service, a rooftop pool, extremely attentive staff and all the charm of historic New Orleans. You will not be disappointed if this is your choice for your stay in this city. I also have to mention their traditional evening complimentary hot cocoa and peanut butter sandwiches - truly two of my favorite foods so how could Anyone go wrong :-)

I arrived in mid-July..it rained the entire time I was there. Although the room was nice, and they did even loan me an umbrella to use during my stay.. other than the day I checked in, the valet service was absolutely pathetic. Especially if you arrive after midnight (hey, you're gonna hit Bourbon St, right?) There was often no one there -OR at the front desk. I learned quickly to call 10 minutes ahead to get my car pulled around when I was coming down to the lobby...for $40/day better service would have been in order. As far as there in house restaurant... it LOOKS nice...great setting, but again level of service was sub-par and the food was a 2 on a scale of 10. Beautiful presentation-they get a "9" for that, but taste and cooking...they get a "2". They also charge extra for drinks on the already overpriced meals...my advice ... eat elsewhere and if you're just doing the French Quarter...it's easily close enough to walk to. Save on the rental car and just hoof it, or take a taxi or street car. I think I will try a different hotel on my next trip

My wife & I enjoyed the room, the pool, the location, the staff and the rooftop pool. Walking a few blocks to the French Quarter was easy & felt quite safe, and we were happy to be nearby, but not right on top of, the (noisy) action. Staff was consistently a pleasure, and evening hot chocolate & PB&J was a great touch. Would absolutely recommend & stay there again.
