My husband and I spent a week in lovely New Orleans for our honeymoon over the week of Labor Day 2011. Everyone at Le Pavillon was incredibly kind and warm. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The room we had wasn't huge but we don't need much space. It was perfect for us. It was very clean and the staff was more than hospitible. Every night there was a new dinner special in the Crystal ROom. We had their Sunday Jazz brunch with complimentary mimosas! I just loved this hotel. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We stayed during Halloween Weekend 2011. We got in late on Friday night and were welcomed warmly and given a great suggestion on a late night pizza joint that delivered until 4am...Vieux Carre Pizza, it was delish! Walking to the Quarter was easy and not far we didn't even have to take a street car, this city is very walkable. There is a Walgreen's and a CVS close so you can pick up water or whatever you need for your day of taking in the sites. We walked Bourbon Street during the day but stayed away at night. Check out the House of Shock if you are in town during the month of October...best haunted house I've been to! Oh and the PBJ's and Hot Cocoa are a very cool touch.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. A unique touch is the free PB&J bar from 10-11pm nightly with milk or hot chocolate - a tradition at this hotel. The outside and lobby of this hotel are very charming however the rooms themselves leave something to be desired. They are clean and what not, however I wouldn't describe the décor to be on par with the lobby of the hotel. Somewhat dated with ruffles everywhere, kind of like what you would expect to see at grandma's house. On a positive note, the room included a fridge and microwave. Also, while it is located in the CBD, it is still only a 5 minute walk from all the action in the French quarter. All in all I would recommend this hotel to a friend.
