Although the rooms are a little outdated and simple, the hotel itself is stunning. The view from the rooftop pool spans all of New Orleans - from the Superdome to the Crescent City Connection. The restaurant and waitstaff were phenomenal; the food was delicious and the service was perfect. Le Pavillon is a historic French hotel with a grandiose feel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying/dining in New Orleans.

From the moment we arrived we knew this was a special place, the staff immediately went out of their way to make sure our stay here was memorable. The decor is breathtaking and the hotel is the best value we've seen in New Orleans for the price, and We've stayed in most of the major and some of the out-of-the-way places as well. The location is convenient to both the French Quarter (2 blocks) and the business/warehouse District (It's on Poydras). We were there for 9 days and loved every minute of our stay. The pool/hottub is the nicest we've seen of all the NOLA hotels, the dining room is exquisite, and our room was very nice. The only complaint I could possibly make would be that the tv remote didn't work the first day (it was immediately changed) and the fan in the bathroom occasionally made a loud noise. I had brief problems with the internet but not so much as to be an inconvenience. It is an older hotel but has been kept in very good condition and has been updated over the years so it has the best of modern convenience and history. Don't forget the evening snacks of PB&J and hot cocoa, or to have one of the special baths prepared for you, you won't regret it (I know my wife won't ever forget it). This is our new favorite hotel in New Orleans!
