The location of this hotel was great. It was within walking distance of many attractions. The room was good - bathroom on the small side. Good water pressure on the 11th floor. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to any issues of concern.

When researching hotels the DoubleTree in Midtown was the most reasonably priced and centrally located. I was more than pleased with everything about the hotel. Especially the warm cookie they give you when you check in! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I like the Doubletree for its location and middle ground between the high and low ends of where I'm willing to stay. The location is superb (next to 53rd/lex subway with connections to E & 6.) The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable with the admittedly small footprint that comes with NY hotel rooms. Prices in NY are highly variable and this trip was no exception. I paid 1.5x this trip than I paid before for the same room. This time I feel like a paid too much for the room, the last time I felt like I got a deal. I will definitely be in NY again for business and will make the Doubletree Metropolitan the first place to check for availability and price.

The room was clean and ready for us at check-in. We had to pay $50 extra for a roll away bed which we thought was a little expensive. Otherwise the room was cleaned every morning with fresh towels and everything stayed in ts original place. Comfortable bed.

I was very disappointed in the room size, quality and general cleanliness and will not stay at this hotel again. In manhattan their are far more hotels that offer much for this price...
