I recently went to the Doubletree Metropolitan hotel and it was the worst hotel I have ever seen. The sheets were dirty the blanket we had to request was dirty, the tub had hair and was dirty, there was mold on the ceiling, it was a serta mattress not a sweet dreams, the manager was So RUDE, it had bugs, my sheet was ripped, the things that were advertised were upon request from the manager i.e. Museum coupons, frigde and breakfast. It was dusty and nasty. The internet access is $14.00 a day. All views are of other windows.

The room was so comfy. Feather duvet, big tv, nice view. Clean. Staff was also very helpful. Loved that it was walking distance to Times Square, Madison Ave., 5th Ave., Rockefeller Center, Central Park and had subway entrance downstairs.

This hotel is wonderful. We arrived late and our initial hotel didn't secure our reservation. Beyond believe. Thank goodness for the Doubletree. The front desk staff are very helpful. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect. We had breakfast at the restaurant-great! It made our visit to NYC a memorable one. I highly recommended this hotel!

The positive aspects: Good Location. Cleanliness. Doorman attentive. The negative aspects. Wi-fi didn't work in lobby or hotel room for most of our stay. The room was small and looked out over an alley. Front desk wouldn't give me my Hilton points because of the booking code. All in all, I wouldn't go back there.

I had a horrible experience at the Doubletree Metropolitan. DON'T STAY THERE. The service is not good and the room are not that clean. The amount of dust in the airconditioning vents was ridiculous.
