Beautiful room on the 34 floor over looking the mountains. The spa suite was well worth the extra money. The room was very large with a king bed, whirlpool and mini fridge. I was nervous about the hotel do to the reviews but it was a pleasant surprise. Our room was cleaned everyday and the front desk staff was very helpful. If you are visiting for a convention or the USBC bowling tournament, I would suggest the shuttle service. The service is offered every half hour and is very prompt. I would stay at this hotel again!!

The Sliver Legacy Hotel and Casino in Reno was a bit of a disappointment. They do have the best casion in terms of atmosphere and an great location but, the hotel does fit that. First of all there is a $3.00 per day resort fee and I still do not know what that is for. I assume it has to do with the pool but, not only did we not use it, we never even found it. It seems unfair to require that fee to be paid, it should just be included in the room fee. The staff at the Bell Desk was great! There was always someone there to help and they were friendly and very helpful! The front desk is not staffed like it should be. There were times when one person was working and 3+ people were waiting or on one was there at all. We also had issues when calling from our room. We had extended hold time if the call was answered. The rooms were not very clean. The walls in the bathroom were dirty and there was a layer of dust on the floor by the walls. The beds were rather uncomfortable as well but, that is our opinion. I would recomend Silver Legacy's casion but, not the hotel.

This hotel needs some major updating. I was a little dissapointed when I got to my room. I could have stayed next door at circus circus for a lot less. Free wifi should be available. Wouldn't recommend this nor would stay here again.

We paid in full for 2 nights, but were hit with a $* "resort fee" per night charge upon check-in. The fee is not a tax, and is mandatory. I guess they need to pad their bottom line somehow. This would be the last time that I will stay at such a hotel that stuck extra "fee" at patron without disclosing it in advance. I would not mind it if the fee was for parking or for some reasonable and tangible benefit.

Plus: -Room was a decent size -Good size sport booking area (need to go digital though) -Connects to two other casinos -Casino floor was a good size with plenty of tables Minus: Bathrooms were outdated Room carpets looked a little shabby (wear sandals or slippers at all times) Cafe food should be avoided (didn't try the steakhouse) Bars are a little shabby Place is usually dead (went during 10.31 so it was a little more festive)
