The staff helped me get a room on the top floor facing downtown Atlanta. However, when checking in, there was no where to park in front of the hotel. The valet service was conveniently using all parking spots. The hotel had a nice decorative style but had the typical hotel smell. Overall, it was a good night. My girlfriend was happy and that was what mattered. I would recommend hotel. P.S. - Hotel will not charge for internet if you connect wirelessly.

I was in Atlanta for work this past week and stayed at the Hyatt for 2 nights. This was a great hotel and I was very satisfied with my experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very up to date and beds were extremely comfortable. I really try to stay in shape when I travel, so the gym is always an important feature for me. This gym was great; at least 8 treadmills and ellipticals, free weights, machines, foam rollers, medicine balls, plus large windows looking out into the city. This was a huge plus for me. If you are looking for some good Southern BBQ, check out Fat Matts about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The ribs are AMAZING. The concierge will be able to give you directions

We arrived at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta on PeachTree the 14th of January, 2011 for a 2-night stay and were not disappointed. We had a very enjoyable stay, the wonderful corner room with huge picture windows allowed for an amazing view of Buckhead. We had a very comfortable stay and especially enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff - the valet team members were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to interact with - you can tell they enjoyed their jobs. We would highly recommend this property if your travel plans include Atlanta, GA!

Stayed here for NYE. All good expect self parking which is not as close as I'd like to the hotel which give then a reason to charge you an extra 10 bucks for valet. Room quality, service, staff all good.

I travel to Atlanta several times a year to visit friends and always stay at the Grand Hyatt. It is in an excellent location (easy access to shopping and the interstate). The hotel is beautiful to the eye and appears to be well-maintained. The rooms have always been spotless, and the beds are very comfortable. The only ""negatives"" I can come up with are the distance to parking (the deck is across the side street and down a small hill) and the fact that they charge for internet access. At a hotel of this quality, internet access should be complimentary.
