1.0 star rating 7/25/2013 I would come here about 4 times a year, every year for decades, but will not be back unless I hear back from them with an apology and some sort of compensation. I recently went there with my family. We booked two rooms for multiple days. One evening I accidentally left my cell phone on a slot machine, and when I came back it was gone. I filled out a report with the security office and they assured me they'd contact me (in my room and or/wife's cell number) the minute the phone was found. That night I checked with security a couple of times and got the impression they thought I was a pest. They assured me they'd call. We were leaving the next morning. I spent the last morning of my vacation searching both rooms, walking the casino floor, asking people if they had seen my phone, and making arrangements to get a new phone. Before we left the state, I called security one more time and they said the "lost and found officer was out" but they didn't see anything. At the last moment, I decided to check the security office and there was my phone, sitting on a table, with nobody around. When I finally found somebody, they said it had been turned in several hours before by an employee. Nobody had contacted me, and those several hours were spent unnecessarily dealing with the lost phone. I noted this in a survey they sent me, sent several complaint e-mails and a hard-copy letter to the general manager, but have not heard back and it's been about four weeks now. I go to Reno multiple times a year, gamble a few hundred bucks, eat in the restaurants, drink in the lounges, see shows, etc. As I said, unless they get back to me and offer a refund or comps, etc, I will be transferring my business to the Peppermill from now on.
Great location, easy off interstate to parking. Â never had to move the car, walked to all the casinos, food and shows. Â nice clean room, good tv, coffee etc.

The building smelled of smoke, like most casinos. the hotel room smelled faiintly of smoke sespite being on a non-smoking floor. Nevada is kinda gross in that smoking is still allowed in the casinos. I avoid that because it is smelly. Someday, the casinos may see the light and end the smoking.

My friends & I went to coffee shop to enjoy some ice cream. Only we didn't get what we ordered. The only reason we kept what we got was that it took so long for us to receive what we got. We did had to ask twice for water and napkins were an after thought that we also had to request twice. Now you might think we'd be mad but really this situation was tough for everyone because the ice cream area was grossly understaffed and over worked. I felt bad for your workers. Still I couldn't figure out why someone else couldn't be called for substitute for an hour. The only thing is I kinda wished I didn't pay for this. And the front desk wouldn't offer this. I also didn't much care for the PAID INTERNET IN OUR ROOMS but it was free downstairs.
