My daughter and I stayed here for a quick weekend get-away. It's right in the middle of the best part of New Orleans-within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and everywhere we wanted to go. Nice room, good service, great location, excellent view of the city from the window. We had a great time and would stay again the next time in the Big Easy!

The service was wonderful! The location was perfect, at the top of the French Quarter where we were perfectly positioned to catch the trolly cars to the garden district, walk to Bourbon Street, catch a horse and buggy around the french quarter and go to the casino. And the bed was amazing! If I could have packed it up and brought it home with me I would have! I have already recommended it to several co-workers. We will return soon!

We enjoyed a comfortable deluxe king bed with a river view on the 19th floor which was amazing. The TV quality was excellent and the double shower head was restful. In general the hotel is very nice but our room was a bit loud. Internet access was quick for its fee. The vending machines were over-priced. We felt it was elegant but it's an aging property and noticed minor maintanence issues like a heavily rusty hinge on the bathroom door, dull scratched brass trim and dinged wooden floors in the elevators. We did feel some of the staff and guests gave us disapproving looks which we attributed to being heavily tattooed and pierced but the staff was civil. The location on the river is top notch and the night view is stunning. We'd stay again.
