  The room we got was on the second floor without an elevator. It was at the top of the steps and was very noisy with everyone coming and going all night along with being so close to the airport with planes flying over. The air conditioner did not work and in the heat of the day it was cooler outside. The staff was very friendly. The shuttle was so nice leaving every half an hour. The whole hotel was very clean and well kept for a 50's built hotel. Denny's was next door for that late night or early morning meal.(Breakfast did not start at the hotel until 6:00a.m.)

  I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. It was very cheap, but it was not worth the savings. Our door faced the street and you could hear the traffic the entire night. All we heard while we tried to sleep was the traffic and the air conditioner. Also, it felt like a very unsafe place to stay. I don't think the room had been updated since the 50's and that is no joke. Believe the reviews when they say it is not a nice place to stay.

  This was my second stay at this hotel. It's extremely convenient to LAX (less than 1 1/2 miles). It's an older property, but it's well maintained with a courteous staff. The hotel has great landscaping, which is something you don't see at a lot of the "big box" hotels these days. The room had a large, comfortable bed, a new looking LCD tv and a refrigerator. The hotel is also co-loacted with a Dennys restaurant so getting your grub on is quick and painless. Next time I have to fly into LAX I will definately stay here again.
