the hotel is in a great location. It is clean and the rooms are nice. The customer service is very poor. They will not go out of the way to help you. 3 times my keys did not work and they would not help me out. Room was not ready until almost 5:00. asked for help and basically have been told no. I still have two rooms in this hotel for the next 4 nights! If I could change hotels I would! XYZ

We stayed at the JW Marriot 8/28-8/31. Everything from check in to check out was great. The hotel staff was all wonderful. The hote and the hotell room was very clean and very beautiful. We are a family of 5 and we all fit just fine in the room. The kids had fun in the pool. The hotel seemed like a perfect location for us. We could walk to the Smithsonians, the holocast museum, the aquarium, the ford theatre. There was a Hard Rock Hotel , and an ESPN Zone just a few blocks away. We felt very safe in the entire area. There is a starbucks in the hotel which was great to kick off the day. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definately return.

Great location, walking distance to White House and Washington Monument, bit more of a walk if you are fit and healthy to Lincoln Memorial and a long way from Arlington Cemetry. Train system very easy to use especially for new comers. Museum's are really not that far either kids knew their way around without a map. Staff were friendly and the lifts were a breeze to use much easier then standard lifts. Family wise we didn't find anywhere to eat all to up market for us, even the list of recommended restaurants was a bit tooooooooo pricy. The room was too small for a family of five and would definitely not recommend it, when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom the light illuminates the whole bedroom as their is one switch for the outside of the bathroom and the toilet!

I am so disappointed with my experience at the DC JW Marriott that I would not stay there again. The room was not thouroghly cleaned. There were dirty articles of clothing in the room from the previous guest. When brought to their attention, the guest service manager was slowto react and assign a new room (they were fully booked!!!). It took 3 telephone calls to have my room reassigned. I expected more from the JW brand. After all if I wanted thrift accomodations I could've booked motel 8.
