This hotel was cheap in price but very nice. The room was clean and elegant. I loved the walk in shower with the glass doors. The room was nicely decorated, and the flat screen was awesome, the safe was convienent overall my stay was Great. I would recommend extended pool hours and a hot tub. I had no time to enjoy the pool.

It's located on the edge of the French Quarter, so you do have quiet at night. The hotels in the middle of the French Quarter were surrounded by night clubs that seemed to stay loud all night long.

The rooms are not clean, the entire facility is worn. There is no restaurant, nor is there a lounge. I left a ""do not disturb"" sign on the door only to return to find housekeeping (if you can call them that) going through my things. The manager had no concern when I contacted him. They are located on the furthest edge of what could be called the french quarter in a questionable area. I was advised by the desk staff not to walk outside at night. Oh, and my linens had not been changed from the previous guests...trust me it was obvious.

I chose this hotel based on the video and photos of a "standard double" room. The description of the room included the word "spacious" (ha). The photo on the website is one of a very nice room with comfortable sitting chairs, armoire, table, desk, nice sized bath. Don't believe it. The room I had was much smaller than the one pictured with a tiny bathroom, one chair (roll-around desk chair), no armoire. The room was clean but definitely "well worn" and definitely undersized for a family stay of more than one night. Comparable to a typical "hole in the wall" room at a budget hotel. The photos on the website are definitely intended to mislead. When I inquired about the difference in the rooms I was told that "a room such as that pictured on the website may be available for a higher price". However, on the website it is shown as a standard double which is what I reserved. During our stay both the restaurant and lounge were not in operation. Of course that was not disclosed when I was making my reservation and I was charged full price. The positives are that the room seemed to be clean and the staff was nice if not receptive to my complaint about the false advertising. This facility is 3 blocks off the far end of Bourbon St from the Sugar Bowl and downtown.
